Biography
Vicky has over 20 years of experience in the music industry, beginning her professional career as a singer and songwriter in London. During this time, she performed with indie pop bands, graced the stage at Glastonbury, and supported acts such as The Mystery Jets and Katy B. Her music has been featured on popular shows like The X Factor and Love Island, and she regularly collaborates with major publishers such as EMI and Sony.
But beyond her musical achievements, Vicky’s true inspiration for her work comes from a deeply personal place. As a child, she struggled to find her own voice—both literally and figuratively. Growing up, she often felt unheard and unsure of how to express herself. This experience ignited a passion to help others break through those same barriers and discover the power of their own voices.
In 2010, Vicky began her journey as a vocal coach at Cambridge Visual and Performing Arts College, where she discovered her deep calling to help others not only find their vocal abilities but also their confidence. After six years of teaching, she transitioned to a freelance career and founded her own practice, FreeYourVoiceHub. Her vision was clear: to create a space where singers and speakers of all levels could develop their vocal skills and self-assurance in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
As a fully qualified Complete Vocal Technique (CVT) teacher, Vicky has a unique ability to help students overcome their fears, build trust in their abilities, and perform with greater assurance. She is trained in CVT’s scientifically backed methods, which focus on healthy vocal production, flexibility, and vocal power. Vicky believes that vocal technique is only part of the equation; confidence is key to unlocking a singer’s full potential. Whether working with beginners or experienced performers, Vicky empowers her students to embrace their unique voices, overcome self-doubt, and take ownership of their artistry.
Her approach is rooted in a deep understanding of vocal anatomy and modern teaching techniques, which she continually refines through her regular visits to Copenhagen to stay updated on the latest developments in the field. By combining technical expertise with an emphasis on confidence building, Vicky has helped countless singers reach new heights in both their vocal ability and personal growth.
